5 Reasons You Need to Test Ride the Stark VARG EX

We’re in the business of motorcycles. To say we are passionate about motorcycles might be an understatement, but ask around and you’ll see how we do things around here. Moto Z is a local shop here in WNY, but we also sell parts, accessories, and bikes.

We’re a dealer for Stark Future, one of the top electric motorcycle producers in the world. We feel the product that Stark Future is putting out is certainly unique, and today on the blog, we want to share with you a few reasons why you might want to consider taking one for a test ride.

Let’s get down to business! Here are 5 Reasons You NEED to Test Ride the Stark VARG EX!

Street Legal

The first reason to try out the VARG EX is that it’s street legal. The Stark VARG MX is the first iteration of their electric motorcycle, but the VARG EX is an enduro-style bike that anyone can take out on the road. The VARG EX is designed for both off-road performance AND on-road legality.

With a rear view mirror, integrated turn signals, a license plate holder, and 4,000-lumen headlight, you will be turning heads on the road, but not the heads of law enforcement! This doesn’t mean it can’t be used as a motocross bike, though! A KYB suspension with 300mm of travel in the front and 310mm in the rear provides a smooth ride on any surface.

Standard or Alpha

One of the key factors of the VARG EX is the availability of either the standard 60HP version or the Alpha 80HP version. This is something you’ll want to test ride to determine what you want. A more experienced rider may opt for the power, whereas if you’re looking for a beginner bike, the 60HP may be just right.

The EX isn’t much more expensive, so we recommend test-driving both to see if you feel you want to go full 80HP. Each uses the same style 360-volt permanent magnet AC motor with a single speed, so you don’t need to worry about changing gears.

Arkenstone

Arkenstone may sound like something out of a new manga cartoon or a medieval times castle, but it’s way cooler than that. Arkenstone is the name of the military-grade android device that is built into the handle/dash area.

It provides the rider with the ability to customize the ride to their preference with advanced power and braking settings. It can also provide full GPS navigation as well as recording your trail if you take it off-road. No bike on the market has something this advanced built into the bike. This is some real sci-fi shit. You gotta see it to believe it!

Next Gen

Regardless of where you stand on electric motorcycles, if you're a fan of anything on two wheels, you absolutely need to test ride one of these bad boys. The futuristic feel of the technology built in, coupled with the raw, silent power of the bike, is something like you’ve never felt before.

Right in the middle of your ride, you can adjust your power delivery and traction so you can go from the dirt to the asphalt and change the bike and the way it feels. It also has a “crawl” mode for lurching forward or backward if you are out on the trails and need to slowly maneuver the bike.

It also has an advanced cooling system that maintains optimal performance regardless of the weather. Plus, there’s some customizability to the way you set your bike up. You can switch up your food and/or brake levers, switch up your tires, and change different spring rates based on your desired experience.
