Let’s take a look at some of the products that Clake has created and break down which products are best for your situation!
Clake One Light Clutch
There are other “easy pull” clutch levers out there, but none reduce clutch pull quite like Clake’s One Light Clutch. Unlike the others, it doesn’t use extra leverage, but somehow still reduces clutch pull by up to 75%!! Regardless of how or where you ride, this significantly decreases the load on your arm, wrist, and hand. With the ability to control the clutch with a single finger, the One Light Clutch is perfect for riders looking to improve grip, practice advanced techniques, and it can also be great for older riders or riders with issues with their hands. Carpel tunnel, arthritis, or joint pain can be reduced thanks to the easy-to-pull clutch control. It can be adjusted for smaller hands, and it allows for an improved grip of your bars.
Clake SLR Hand Operated Rear Brake
The ability to add a hand-operated rear brake means you have, for one, better braking control. It also means you can brake while your right foot is off the footpeg, and covering the rear brake during wheelies. The Clake SLR offers a simple and affordable way to add a hand brake to your bike.
We offer several custom, made-to-order kits that enable you to take the SLR to another level, including:
Clake SLR - Dual Control Kit - This kit allows you to retain your original foot pedal as well as being able to operate the rear brake via the SLR lever
Clake SLR Rekluse Upgrade Kit - This kit is for riders who already have a Rekluse Left Hand Rear Brake, but wish to upgrade to the Clake SLR. It provides all the fittings required to connect the SLR to your existing Rekluse rear brake master cylinder adapter.
Clake SLR - Pedal Master Cylinder Adapter Kit - This kit offers 2 variants for Brembo and Nissan pedal master cylinders. It allows you to retain the use of your rear brake pedal, giving you dual control for the hand brake and your pedal. Please check with us on compatibility, as they do not fit all models of the master cylinder.
Clake SLR High Performance Options- We also offer custom, built-to-order kits that increase the performance of the SLR. Though they may not be street legal, these kits offer extremely low expansion under pressure, and this translates to greater braking force and faster lever response. We have the kits in the Hand Operation Kit Only, and also the Dual Control.
Clake One
The Clake One is a simple single-lever clutch and brake system. First, it applies the clutch, and then the rear brake. It is intended for a bike that has an auto-clutch, so if you do not have an auto-clutch, you may want to look at the Clake Two or the Clake Pro Lever. You do have the ability to choose to either remove your rear brake pedal or keep it, but you will need to order the dual control version, which allows you to change between hand and foot operation of the rear brake.
Clake Two
The Clake TWO offers the ability to independently operate either the clutch or rear brake. A step up from the Clake One, it offers two separate levers that allow you to completely control the clutch and/or rear brake independently. It works best with an auto-clutch, but it is not required. You can also go with a dual control version that allows advanced riders to ride with one finger operating the light-action clutch, and the other finger to actuate the rear brake. You can choose instantly between operating JUST the clutch, or JUST the rear brake (and also clutch) by moving your finger from lever to lever.
Clake Pro Lever
The Pro Lever is similar to the Clake 2 in that is uses a special mechanism for the clutch but similar to the Clake One it only has the one lever that disengages the clutch and then progressively applies the rear brake. It offers a simpler operation than the Clake Teo, but still offers an easy clutch for less arm pump. You can adjust the degree of overlap between the clutch and rear brake. We offer the Pro Lever in the Dual Control version, and also the Hand Operation Kit Only.
