The Furygan Motion Lab is armed with the same capabilities as official certification laboratories, and directly involved in defining the European standards for PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) designed for users of two-wheeled motorized vehicles. Furygan conducts extensive testing for impact, abrasion, cuts, tears, and ergonomics during product development.
Impact
Furygan works exclusively with D3O® impact protection, a revolutionary material that absorbs energy and hardens upon impact. This technology is used and trusted around the world by soldiers, professional athletes, industrial workers and motorcyclists.
The best and latest generation of D3O® protectants are integrated into all Furygan motorcycle jackets and pants. The use of this material allows Furygan to provide superior protection alongside comfort.
Abrasion
Furygan motorcycle gear is a second skin that you can trust while riding. Furygan is committed to going above and beyond to ensure that you’re protected and their products exceed standards.
All Furygan garments are tested repeatedly by zones with different levels of resistance based on importance. This testing combined with the skillful use of a mix of unique materials allows for the creation of dependable garments with abrasion resistance sometimes 3 to 4 times higher than the threshold necessary.
Tears & Cuts
To ensure all garments perform at the highest possible capabilities of protection, Furygan implements unique solutions to prevent tears and cuts in the material and seams.
Furygan’s exclusive Skin Protect© Lining technology, developed in the Motion Lab, reinforces the outer shell and seams of all garments. This technology along with high quality materials used for abrasion resistance ensures that cuts or tears don’t reduce the level of protection against abrasion.
Ergonomics
With Furygan’s motorcycle gear, you don’t have to sacrifice comfort for protection. The testing done at the Motion Lab, allows for the best of both worlds.
Furygan prioritizes maneuverability and responsive feel in all of their designs. This allows for the fullest control while riding, which in turn affects safety levels. Furygan also ensures through their testing that the protective pads stay in place no matter what. It is a top priority to make sure that here isn’t any part of the garment that could potentially cause injury during impact.

Leather
Thoroughly scanned and tested with strict standards of strength, quality, and final thickness of 1 to 1.3mm, for all products - sponsored racers and everyday riders alike.
Textiles
High Tenacity Bi-Stretch: vertical and horizontal stretch with abrasion resistance.
Ballistic: Polyamide fabric with specialized weaving and coating for extra strength on important impact abrasion resistance areas.
High Tenacity Polyester: Thick Polyester fabric with multiple coatings for abrasion resistance.
Hitena: Abrasion resistant polyamide with dirt resistant external treatment.
Kevlar®: Double face interlock (intermingled weaving) made with cotton and Kevlar from DuPont for comfort and protection.
Threads
Triple-stitched with thick High Tenacity Polyamide or Polyester thread, and covered with a fold of fabric in high-risk abrasion areas.
